Short review - course opened too early, too many gimmicks, dont need to play it again. Broadlands, Ironwood, and Washington County rolled into one (no disrespect intended to WC.)Great potential in the land and setting. Hopefully the ownership group will take criticism well and make necessary changes. Right now it looks more like a course that was put together by guys who dont play golf. Details - I should have known by the goofy European style roundabout that you have to drive thru to get into the course that it would be a disappointing day. I certainly knew by the second hole which had a blind tee shot and a blind second shot into a postage stamp, elevated green Scenic View comes to mind) Conditions were awful...Broadlands on its worst day. Greens do look like they have potential to be nice. Gimmicks/goofiness- Blind shots galore Roundabout before you get into the parking lot Bell you have to ring after leaving seventh hole Back to back par threes Par 37 on the back nine Black and white xerox copies of the Course Guide (only 1 per cart of course) many, many more
